A suspected child groomer has been held in custody following a confrontation on his doorstep by paedophile hunters.

The 30-minute video was posted on the Protecting the Innocent Facebook page, and appears to show two men approaching a front door in Dover.

A man in a black jacket steps out to answer questions from a man in a purple jacket, who details how the suspect allegedly wanted to meet underage girls for sex on a website.

The suspect appears shocked at the questions, while the hunter reads out details from a sheet.

Following the exchange, police have confirmed that a man in his 20s was arrrested on suspicion of child grooming in Heathfield Avenue in Dover.

They say he is currently being held in custody and enquiries are ongoing.
