Police alerted to 'suspicious' activity in Dover's B&Q car park

Police were called to a B&Q car park following reports of suspicious activity from people travelling in four vans.

A group were spotted shifting items into different vehicles yesterday at the Honeywood Park Industrial Estate in Whitfield, near Dover.

Officers, who were alerted at about 1.30pm, spoke with the individuals involved and found no wrongdoing.

A force spokesman said: "Police were called to a report a group of people, who had been travelling in four vans, were acting suspiciously in a car park in Honeywood Parkway.

"Officers attended and spoke with the individuals involved.

"It was established the people had stopped to move their property from one van to another before they continued with their journeys and there was no evidence of any offences."
