Police appeal after 'stabbing' in Beaconsfield Road in Dover

A teenager who was airlifted to hospital after being found in a road had wounds consistent with having been stabbed.

Police investigating the suspected stabbing in Dover have arrested a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s but are appealing for more information.

Officers were called to Beaconsfield Road at 9.40am yesterday following a report that a man had been found injured.

The 19-year-old man was flown to a London hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds.

He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The two people who were arrested remain in custody while inquiries continue.
