Magical Taxi Tour convoy makes its way through Kent on way to Disneyland Paris

A two-and-a-half mile convoy of taxis has made its way through Kent this morning.

A total of 92 cabs carried poorly children as they set out on the journey of a lifetime.

The kids are being taken to Disneyland Paris on the Magical Taxi Tour organised by London drivers.

The three-day trip, now in its 26th year, is for youngsters with life-threatening illnesses who are also provided with the medical support they need in order to take part.

In addition to the 92 taxis 28 emergency vehicles will also take part.

They will sail from Dover today on the 10.15am Pride of Burgundy.

P&O Ferries have provided the crossing and toys and sweets will be handed out on board, donated by World Duty Free.

During the crossing the children will have their photograph take with the captain.
