Former Ebbsfleet defender Jack Connors joins Dover

Dover Athletic have signed former Ebbsfleet United defender Jack Connors to their squad.

The 23-year-old had been on trial with the club and signed a deal after featuring in their 1-1 draw with Woking on Saturday.

Connors was released by Ebbsfleet in May after two seasons at the club where he made 77 appearances in all competitions.

The defender began his playing career with Dagenham & Redbridge making 49 appearances in League 2 and has also represented Republic of Ireland at under-21 level.

Chris Kinnear has signed four defenders to his squad following the departure of Giancarlo Gallifuoco, Manny Parry and Femi Ilesanmi over the summer. Connors joins Kevin Lokko, Moussa Diarra and Tim Schmoll at Crabble.
