Ex-Dover striker Tobi Sho-Silva joins National League club Halifax Town

Tobi Sho-Silva looks set to return to Crabble in the National League next season, but not in the colours of Dover.

The striker has joined FC Halifax Town on a one-year deal after being released by Whites at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

Sho-Silva signed for Dover from Bromley back in 2017 before making 22 appearances across all competitions for the club until his permanent departure in May.

The 24-year-old, who began his career at Charlton, has also spent time at Welling United and Iverness Caledonian Thistle.

He followed up his switch to Bromley in 2016/17 by scoring 11 goals in the National League to impress enough to earn a move to Dover a year later.

First-team opportunities eventually proved difficult to come by as Andy Hessenthaler took over as manager following Chris Kinnear's exit.

Sho-Silva's last start for Dover was at home to Salford in October 2018, after which he was sent out one-month loan deals to Chelmsford City in December and then Margate in February this year.
