Gomis made 43 appearances for Barrow AFC last season and prior to that had a three season stint at Sutton United. He was part of the Sutton side that won promotion to the National League in the 2015-16 season.

He was part of the youth set-up at French club Lens before moving to Spanish sides Puertollano and Almeria.
