The Dons had a depleted squad for the fixture and opted to recall Cosgrave for the match to bolster their numbers. He played 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat.

Cosgrave joined Whites on a season-long loan from League 1 Wimbledon in July and the club have confirmed he remains on their books and available for this weekend’s game against Torquay United.

He is due back in training with Dover on Thursday.
