Why should people vote for me?
A vote for Beccy Sawbridge is a vote for people and planet. She is a representative with Unite Community, active on their campaigns 'Axe the Housing Act' and 'Stop Benefit Sanctions'. A gutsy campaigner on animal rights and anti-racism issues, she went with East Kent Greenpeace Group to the Paris Climate Summit in December 2015.

Don't vote for cruel and callous Conservatives.

Fun fact:
She loves the Labi Siffre song ‘Something inside so Strong’ but keeps repeating the same line, 'The more you refuse to hear my voice - the louder I will sing '

We've come a long way together in Dover and Deal since 2010. We stopped Labour's port sell off, got a new Dover hospital built, delivered the fast train for Deal - and finally brought down Burlington House.

Now I want us to build on that hard work. I'm fighting for stronger borders - making sure the port is ready on day one for Brexit. Hundreds of millions of pounds have been invested in our area over the past seven years - I'm determined to keep boosting jobs and money. And I'm battling for better healthcare, with more services at our hospitals and better mental health treatment.

Everything we have worked so hard for since 2010 would be put at risk by Jeremy Corbyn's coalition of chaos. The Conservatives will keep getting things done for Dover and Deal.

We simply cannot trust the Conservatives to deliver on Brexit, immigration and housing. Dover is the front line and needs a strong voice. I am a barrister, born and bred in Kent, and I am determined that we get the best deal for Britain and for our corner of it!

Fun fact:
The only Albion Rovers supporter in East Kent.

I will represent and fight for Dover and Deal residents at Westminster, pushing for a proper solution to transport issues and for a decent Brexit deal that everyone can have a say on. I will fight for increased investment in local schools and the NHS and social care.

Fun fact:
A funny fact – I’ve got a metal plate in my cheek after I shattered the bone playing football when I was 18.

Why should people vote for me?
I was born in Buckland hospital and raised in St Radigunds’s in Dover. My father served in the forces and my mother worked on the boats. They worked hard to provide us with the things we needed, and I have kept that work ethic close to my heart. I now live in Deal and it gives me a unique perspective on both areas. I would be the right candidate because I understand your issues as I live with them myself. I understand that no one really votes for a party, or an individual: they vote for themselves and their families. When you cast your vote on June 8th, you need to ask yourself what is right for you. Do you want to have a representative that votes to cut your benefits and votes for cuts to your services, or do you want someone that will work for you in the community and vote in parliament to make your life better. I will not stop working until every persons quality of life improves.

Vote Local, Vote Labour, Vote Blair.

Fun fact:
Once the twins filled my pockets with cooked pasta without me noticing. Went to pull out a pen a work and pulled out fusilli instead.
