Air ambulance called as cyclist seriously injured in crash on Graveney Road

A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car yesterday evening.

An air ambulance was called to the accident, which took place on Graveney Road, at around 5.10pm yesterday (March 7).

The man, who suffered a head injury, was treated at the scene before being taken by road to William Harvey Hospital.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers attended the scene alongside crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

"The cyclist, a man, was taken to a local hospital and officers are conducting ongoing enquiries into the incident."
