A motorcyclist has died after crashing with a van on a bend on a village road.
The 51-year-old biker was riding a Yamaha YZF RI along Faversham Road in Throwley when it collided with a silver Volkswagen Transporter travelling in the opposite direction.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The family of the rider, who was from the Ramsgate area, have been informed.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 5.30pm yesterday.
Officers from Kent Police’s serious collision investigation unit are also after dash-cam footage of the vehicles in the moments before the crash.
