Cannabis factory in Queens Parade in Faversham dismantled by police

A cannabis factory made up of about 200 plants has been uncovered.

Officers were sent to an address in Queens Parade in Faversham yesterday morning after they received a report that it was being used to cultivate the class B drug.

The plants were seized by police.

A police spokesman said: "Officers have dismantled a cannabis factory uncovered in Faversham.

"Approximately 200 plants were located at the address and they have all been seized.

"At present no arrests have been made and officers are conducting ongoing enquiries to establish the full circumstances."
