A car and a lorry have crashed blocking a roundabout off a motorway and causing delays of more than an hour at one point.

Highways England traffic officers attended the scene on the Brenley Corner roundabout at junction 7 of the M2 eastbound.

The delays were compounded when another lorry broke down nearby, closing one lane of the exit.

There were long delays in both directions of the motorway approaching the junction.

The crash happened at about 7.40am and was cleared at about 9.25am.

No one was reported injured and both vehicles were moved to a layby.

Delays have cleared.
