Cow dies after crash on A20 at Aycliffe

A cow died after it was hit by three cars on the A20 at Aycliffe last night.

It was reported that the cars hit it at around 10.30pm, and the cow died at the scene.

The road was closed while the vehicles and cow were recovered, but it had a knock-on effect on those travelling on the Old Folkestone Road.

The A20 was fully opened just before 6am today, and there were said to be minor injuries in the crash.
