Dolphin rescued from shallow water off Flood Lane, Faversham by firefighters

Specialist firefighters have rescued a dolphin which had become stranded in shallow water in Faversham.

Crews from the animal rescue unit were called to Flood Lane just before 9am.

The water safety unit also attended along with experts from British Divers Marine Life Rescue.

The team were able to move the dolphin onto a rescue vehicle and took it to Harty Ferry coastal point.
