Emergency crews called to three-car crash on A2 Canterbury Road, Faversham

Police and paramedics have been called to a three-car crash on a major route.

The collision happened on the A2 Canterbury Road in Faversham, near the junction with Love Lane, shortly before 2.30pm today.

Traffic information site Inrix reports slow traffic after the accident, but the road has now reopened.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 2.25pm today to a collision involving three vehicles in Canterbury Road, Faversham.

“Officers are currently at the scene where those involved are being checked by paramedics as a precaution.”
