Emergency services are at the scene of a four-vehicle crash on the M2
Traffic is slow moving on the coast-bound carriageway following the smash between junction 5 for Sittingbourne and junction 6 for Faversham.
Police were called shortly before 5pm following the incident.
Spokesman James Walker said: "Officers are in attendance and all four vehicles are on the hard shoulder.
"At present no serious injuries have been reported."
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area and allow extra time for journeys.
