Faversham: Pensioner in serious condition after being hit by car in Napleton Road

An elderly man is in a serious condition after he was hit by a car.

Police received reports yesterday at about 2.30pm of a white Nissan Juke travelling along Napleton Road towards Tanners Street in Faversham, when it collided with a pedestrian.

The man, who is in his 80s, suffered head injuries and was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The driver stopped after the incident.

Anyone who witnessed it or saw the car or pedestrian beforehand has been urged to call 01622 798538, quoting the reference number AH/MR/055/18.
