Trains have been halted after a person was hit by a train.
Emergency services are dealing with the incident, which happened on the line between Margate and Faversham.
In a tweet, a Southeastern spokesman wrote: "Sadly we have had a report of a person being hit by a train between Faversham and Margate.
"Trains in the area are at a stand while emergency services attend."
Police have been approached for more information.
