Police helicopter out following reported disturbance in Lower Road Faversham

A police helicopter is searching for a man believed to be carrying a weapon after emergency services were called out to a street following a disturbance.

Officers were called at 9.15am to the report of an incident in Lower Road, Faversham.

It was alleged a man, who was accompanied by a woman, had damaged a car before leaving the area carrying a weapon.

A woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and she remains in custody.

A helicopter has been launched to search for the man.

Two ambulances, forensics, and several patrols cars have been spotted along Lower Road.
