Road closed by Sainsbury’s in Faversham in response to ‘medical incident’

Emergency services descended on a Sainsbury’s store this afternoon.

They dealt with a medical incident near the business in Bysing Wood Road, Faversham, at 11.05am.

To allow emergency services to attend the incident a temporary road closure was in place.

The force said: “Officers attended the scene where they assisted paramedics.”

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “The store has remained open for trading as normal.”

The ambulance service has been contacted for more information.
