The man, along with two others, allegedly threatened the worker before taking a basket and putting it inside a nearby car in which a fourth man was waiting.

One threw the trolley on the floor, before getting into the car with the two other men.

They then drove away at speed.

Police have arrested a 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both from Faversham, along with a 28-year-old man from Whitstable and a 33-year-old man from Ashford.

All four have since been released under investigation.
