Entertainment programme for Faversham Christmas lights switch-on 2019

A sparkling programme of entertainment for Faversham's Christmas lights switch-on has been revealed ahead of the event tomorrow.

There will be school performances from 9.30am, with pupils from Ethelbert Road (9.30am), Luddenham (10am), Ospringe (10.30am), Davington (11am) and Bysingwood (11.30am) primary schools taking to the stage before the afternoon.

Then at 1pm, Mike Wheeler and his band will be entertaining crowds, followed by the Rock Choir at 2.30pm.

Finally - before the switch-on ceremony in Market Place - Faversham Mission Brass Band will perform at 4.30pm.

The stunning display throughout the town will then be flicked on after 5pm, before the night food market begins at 5.30pm.

The town centre will be packed with stalls offering tasty treats.

There will also be live music throughout the evening.
