An online darts competition has raised money to assist NHS workers - paying for 180 tubes of handcream.
The Faversham Darts League is up and running online with some of Kent’s top players taking part in the charity event.
Thirty-two players have been in action over the last few weeks, culminating in the latter stages, which are being broadcast live.
Carl Wilson, from Tunbridge Wells, booked his place in the final last night (Wednesday) and he will meet either Dean Owen or Kent’s A player Peter Allen.
The second semi-final is being shown live on YouTube and Faversham Darts’ Facebook page from 7pm. The final is set to take place live tomorrow (Friday) night.
Jordan Dadd is organising the event along with Benn Swinfield and they’ve even managed to pick up a sponsor, with Herne Bay’s J&J Recruitment offering their support.
The 32 players taking part were split into four groups. Topping those were Kent County A player Keith Montgomery, Faversham’s Craig Preston, Whitstable's Owen and another county player Paul Fox.
Runners-up in the group stages, making it through to the knock-out stage, were Nigel Payne, Justin Dane of Faversham, Allen and finalist Wilson.
Former Kent player Dadd, who usually runs the Faversham league, used his contacts to help get players from across the county involved.
He said: “I have managed to bring together players from right around Kent, from Herne Bay to Medway and it’s been so successful we have been getting other players contacting us to take part.
“We’ve got people playing from their garden sheds and summer houses, their living rooms and my own board is in my little girl’s toy room.
“We have had a few technical problems but on the whole it has been good and it’s great to have been able to bring so many players together from their own homes.”
The Home Tour is currently being run by the PDC with professional players taking part from their own homes, including Deal’s Ross Smith, who was knocked out on Monday after taking part in the group stages from his own garden shed.
Dadd’s own competition looks set to get bigger. A new event is set to get underway this weekend, with money again being raised for charity, and anybody interested can get in touch through the league’s website or social medial. Entrance is just £2.
