Finn Smart-Weeden leads class standings in the NG Road Racing Junior SuperSport Championship

Faversham flier Finn Smart-Weeden enjoyed another successful weekend in the NG Road Racing Junior SuperSport Championship.

Riding his 47bhp Kawasaki Ninja400 at Castle Combe in Wiltshire, he dominated his class, finishing more than 30 seconds clear of second place in all three races.

The 14-year-old also smashed the lap record by 1.35sec and leads the standings by 100 points.

Overall, in the mixed class races, he was fifth, sixth and third.

The final race saw him claw his was back from seventh to clinch third with a daredevil move in the final chicane to pass a Formula 400 class adult whose bike had at least an extra 25bhp.

Next up is the Bemsee Team Green Championship at Cadwell Park on June 26-27, with Smart-Weeden second in the standings.
