The former Dartford striker, who has had loans at Leatherhead and Phoenix Sports, has played under Faversham manager James Collins previously at Chatham, Cray and Lordswood.

Collins’ team underwent fitness training and said everything was done within FA restrictions.

More newcomers are set to be announced in the coming days by the Isthmian League side.

Ambitious striker Francis told the club’s website that he couldn’t wait to get going.

He said: “I’ve played for James before, so I know what he expects of his players, and he knows what he'll get from me.

“I want to try and get the team into the play-offs and get promotion and start moving up the leagues. That has to be our aim.”

Francis scored Dartford’s winning goal in the Kent Senior Cup final against Charlton in 2016.

Collins, speaking about his new recruit, said: “With injuries now behind him I’m sure he will fulfil that potential at Faversham Town.”
