Faversham Town boss Tommy Warrilow signs new two-year contract ahead of Isthmian South East return

Faversham boss Tommy Warrilow has penned a new two-year deal.

The former Tonbridge, Thamesmead and Ashford manager oversaw the Lilywhites’ Isthmian South East return after a two-year absence as they earned last term’s Southern Counties East League Premier Division title after Warrilow joined in January 2024.

And Warrilow has now committed his long-term future to the Salters Lane side with his new contract being announced on Friday, a day ahead of their opening pre-season friendly at home to National League South team Dover.

“We all know that the Isthmian South East will be a much tougher test than last season and, as a board and club, we will do whatever we can to support Tommy and his management team to build throughout the season to bring future success,” said chairman Gary Smart.

“Tommy's contract signals a statement of intent from the club as they continue to push toward ambitious goals in the seasons ahead.

“The club and its supporters will no doubt be excited to see what the future holds.

“I’m sure all the supporters will join us in wishing Tommy, OB (No.2 Alex O’Brien) and the boys all the best for the new exciting season.”

The news comes on the same day Faversham found out they will start their 2025/26 FA Cup journey with an Extra Preliminary Round trip to Combined Counties League Premier Division South side Balham on Saturday, August 2, before starting their league season seven days later.

Town will visit Swale rivals Sittingbourne, last term’s FA Trophy quarter-finalists, in the First Qualifying Round on Saturday, September 6.

Quick wideman Michael Ademiluyi has also rejoined Faversham after he played 18 times for them under then-manager Sammy Moore.
