A20 near Folkestone re-opens after coach crashes into broken down caravan

A road has re-opened following a multi-vehicle crash which left it out of use for more than seven hours.

The A20 near Folkestone was closed at around 1.30am after reports a coach collided with a van which was towing a caravan and had broken down on the coast bound carriageway.

Police and Highways officers, along with ambulance and firefighters, attended the scene and closed the road in that direction at the Hawkinge Interchange just after the Round Hill Tunnel.
