Search called off for Robert Storey who went missing from Folkestone

Police have called off a search for a missing man following the discovery of a body.

Officers are no longer appealing for information regarding Robert Storey from Folkestone.

The 42-year-old was first reported missing from the Canterbury Road area of Hawkinge yesterday morning.

This morning at around 9am, a man was found deceased at the side of a cliff in the area of Folkestone Warren.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Mr Storey’s next of kin have been informed.

Officers are at the scene along with paramedics and Kent Fire and Rescue Service where a body, along with a car was discovered.

The circumstances are not currently being treated as suspicious.
