Folkestone: Cyclist dies after coming off bike on Dover Hill

A 61-year-old cyclist has died after coming off his bike in the early hours of the morning.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the man came off his push bike on Dover Hill near the junction of Dover Road in Folkestone.

Emergency services were called at 12.55am and the man died at the scene.

Detective Constable DI Walker said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone who may have seen the orange coloured pedal cycle being ridden in the area.

"We would also appeal for anyone who may have dash cam footage to get in touch."
