There are delays of up to an hour through the Channel Tunnel this morning due to “technical issues”.

Eurotunnel departures from Folkestone are affected, with bosses saying they are working on fixing the problems.

Traffic information site Inrix says the waits for passengers are up to an hour.

In a statement on its website, Le Shuttle said: “Apologies for the wait today.

“Earlier technical issues resulted in a disruption to our service.

“Our teams are working hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
