Police and ambulance crews called to Marine Parade, Folkestone, following 'medical incident'

Emergency crews descended on Folkestone this morning following reports of a 'medical incident'.

Both police and ambulance crews were seen outside the Burstin Hotel, at the town's seafront, after a person became unwell.

It is not known if the person was a guest at the hotel or a visitor to the harbour.

The extent of the incident has yet to be revealed.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Marine Parade in Folkestone at 10.21am on Thursday, June 27 to assist the South East Ambulance Service with a report of a person having a medical incident."
