Firefighters rescue girl from steep bank between The Leas in Folkestone and the beach

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to help a teenage girl who had got stuck about 20 metres down a steep bank in Folkestone.

The girl had taken a shortcut down the side of a muddy bank which leads from a footpath between The Leas and the beach.

Fire crews walked up the bank and used specialist equipment to bring her to safety.
