Women assaulted in Party Bar toilets, Folkestone

Two women were left with injuries after being attacked in a bar toilet in Folkestone.

The women were allegedly assaulted by a group of up to five middle-aged women in the toilets at The Party Bar in Tontine Street.

The incident is believed to have taken place at around 2am on Saturday.

A Facebook post by a friend of the victims said: "Disgusting behaviour, and whoever did this I hope you are happy.

"One of them cannot see out of one eye!"

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police is investigating a report two women were assaulted by a group of women at a premises in Tontine Street, Folkestone, at around 2am on Saturday December 28.

"At present no arrests have been made and inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing."

A spokesperson for Party Bar Folkestone said that they were unable to comment due to the ongoing investigation.
