Man airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after Folkestone crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital following a serious collision last night.

The air ambulance was called to the scene in Folkestone alongside police and ground crews at around 9.48pm.

The victim, a man in his 20s, suffered multiple injuries following the collision which involved a white Ford Ranger.

It is understood that the man was a pedestrian.

He was taken to a London hospital following the incident, which occurred near the Morrisons in Cheriton Road.

His condition is described as serious.
