A man was attacked in his own home by two violent intruders who burst into the property in the early hours.

The victim suffered facial injuries during the assault in Black Bull Lane, Folkstone.

His attackers fled the scene empty-handed, but a description of one has now led to an e-fit image being circulated by detectives.

He is described as white, in his 30s, 6ft tall, of medium build and with a short beard. He was wearing a dark grey tracksuit.

The second man is described as white, in his 30s, of large build and wearing dark clothing.

Police say witnesses have been spoken to and CCTV reviewed.

The attack took place at 1.40am on Thursday, April 11.
