Police release CCTV images after theft from Co-op in Folkestone

CCTV images of two masked men raiding a Folkestone shop have been released.

Locked cabinets were forced open and a number of the tobacco products were stolen from the Co-cop in Cheriton Road.

The images show the men entering the store and leaping over counter-tops.

Cigarettes can be seen strewn over the floor in the background to one of the images.

Both were wearing hoodies- one grey and one blue- while at least one is wearing a mask over his face.

The incident happened between 12.30am and 1am on Saturday.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who recognises the men pictured or witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.

Anyone who has been offered tobacco or cigarettes for sale is also asked to contact police.

Witnesses are asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/10537/20.
