Woman raped after being approached in Harbour Way, Folkestone

Police are hunting a man after a woman was raped.

The victim was attacked after being approached by a man at night in Folkestone.

The suspect approached the victim in Harbour Way, near the junction with Tram Road at 1am on Monday, July 5, and then later raped her.

He was around 5ft 8ins, white, bald and of muscular build.

He was wearing a dark short-sleeved top, dark trousers and white trainers.

He is believed to have been driving a dark Ford S-Max, which was seen near the Harbour Arm at around 1am.

An investigation is ongoing and officers are urging anyone who has any information to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/117579/21.
