Street attack: second suspect arrested

A SECOND man has been arrested after an assault on a reveller in Folkestone.

The 24-year-old victim was attacked outside Club Indigo in Marine Parade on Sunday October 6. He was taken to the Royal Free Hospital in London where he underwent surgery for a serious head injury. He is now recovering at home in Shepway.

A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident on Sunday morning, questioned at Folkestone police station and released on bail until December.

Another man, a 24-year-old from Folkestone, was arrested the day after the assault. He is also on police bail and will return to Folketsone police station in December.
