Police arrest teenage boy after man, aged in his 30s, stabbed in Foord Road, Folkestone

Police investigating a stabbing have arrested a teenage boy after a man in his 30s was airlifted to a London hospital.

Officers were called at about 3.30pm yesterday to a report a man had been seriously assaulted in Foord Road, Folkestone.

Emergency services were scrambled to the scene, with an air ambulance landing at the Folkestone Warren nature reserve.

A man in his 30s was airlifted to a London hospital with a stab wound, which is not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say a 17-year-old boy was arrested today on suspicion of assault.

He remains in custody while the investigation continues.
