Teenager attacked in his home in Folkestone

A teenager was injured and forced to flee his home after he was attacked by masked raiders.

The victim, who is in his late teens, was in his front room when two men burst into his home in Bouverie Road West, Folkestone.

He suffered injuries to his leg and arms before running from the property which is near the junction with Earls Avenue.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment after receiving help from a friend who called an ambulance.

The attackers, who were wearing black clothing, were seen leaving the property in a silver car which had been parked outside.

Detectives are investigating and have been making house-to-house inquiries and have been reviewing all available CCTV. It has not yet been established whether anything was stolen.
