Teenager quizzed over rape of nightclubber

AN 18-year-old man has been questioned by police after a 23-year-old woman was raped in Folkestone.

The man was arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Mill Bay during the early hours of Sunday, August 8. He was later released on bail without charge. Further investigations are continuing.

The woman was attacked behind the Brewery Tap public house. The victim had been to the Pipers nightclub in Tontine Street and was heading towards Dover Road when she was approached by a man and attacked.

The attacker is described as white, slim, about 5ft 4in tall, aged 21 to 25, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing dark jeans and a dark shirt.
