Fishing equipment and a lawnmower are among items reported stolen during two burglaries in Folkestone.
Police are asking people to be vigilant after thieves targeted two domestic garages in the town.
The first burglary took place between 5.07am on Thursday, July 5 and 4.30pm the following day when two bicycles, a set of golf clubs and fishing equipment were stolen from a garage in Weymouth Road, Cheriton.
The second took place between 3.10pm and 3.15pm on Monday 9 July 2018 when a yellow and red lawnmower with a green fuel cap was stolen from a garage in Lynwood.
Police Constable Kerry Duncan appealed for witnesses, saying: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in those areas during the relevant times.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who has since been offered the items for sale."
She also urged people to consider increasing the security at their garages and outbuildings: "Security lights, stronger locks and alarms can all be fitted relatively cheaply and will deter opportunist thieves."
Anyone with information is asked to phone Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference number ZY/39360/18 for the Weymouth Road burglary or ZY/39419/18 for the Lynwood burglary.
