Three people taken to hospital after huge emergency response at Sunny Sands Beach in Folkestone

Three people have been taken to hospital after emergency crews were called to a beach.

The trio sparked a huge response from police and paramedics yesterday evening at Sunny Sands beach in Folkestone.

An ambulance service spokesperson said: “We were called shortly after 7.30pm yesterday to reports of three people in need of medical attention on Sunny Sands beach in Folkestone.

“Crews assessed and treated three patients at the scene before taking them all to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”

They could not provide any more information due to patient confidentiality.
