Weapon threat at Harbour Street bar in Folkestone triggers Kent Police manhunt

Firearm officers swooped on a seafront bar after a man reportedly brandished a weapon and threatened a victim.

The disturbance reportedly happened outside a bar in Harbour Street, between Parade Steps and Beach Street in Folkestone, on Saturday at 1.40am.

No injuries were reported and despite an extensive search of the area no suspect or weapon was recovered, according to police.

Detectives investigating have made a number of enquiries and have issued CCTV images of two men who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the men in the images is urged to contact Kent Police as soon as possible.
