Isthmian League fixtures for 2020/21 season released

The fixtures for the Isthmian League have been released with the season starting on Saturday, September 19.

Folkestone Invicta, who were sat in the Isthmian Premier in March before last season was declared null and void, begin with a trip to Worthing.

A goal from Ira Jackson, who has since joined League 2 Grimsby, secured Neil Cugley’s men a 1-0 win in the corresponding fixture last season in mid-February.

Margate are also on the road with Jay Saunders taking his squad to Brightlingsea Regent while Cray Wanderers open up at home to Kingstonian.

Margate host Folkestone on Boxing Day with the reverse fixture at Cheriton Road on Easter Monday (April 5).

There are seven rounds of midweek matches in the Premier Division plus three Bank Holiday games which includes the May Bank Holiday with the season not ending until May 8.

In the South East Division, there is a derby at Woodstock Park on the opening day as Sittingbourne entertain Whitstable while Ashford United host Phoenix Sports at Homelands.

Hythe host Burgess Hill, Herne Bay are at home to Whyteleafe and VCD entertain Whitehawk.

Faversham visit Guernsey, Ramsgate travel to Chichester and Cray Valley are at Hastings.

Boxing Day sees a variety of Kent derbies as you’d expect. Ashford host Whitstable, Herne Bay are a t home to Faversham, Hythe take on Ramsgate, Sittingbourne entertain Phoenix Sports and Cray Valley make the trip to VCD.

Opening day fixtures (September 19): Isthmian Premier: Bognor v Bishop’s Stortford, Brightlingsea v Margate, Carshalton v Potters Bar, Cheshunt v East Thurrock, Corinthian Casuals v Haringey, Cray Wanderers v Kingstonian, Enfield Town v Lewes, Hornchurch v Merstham, Leatherhead v Horsham, Wingate & Finchley v Bowers, Worthing v Folkestone.

Isthmian South East: Ashford v Phoenix Sports, Chichester v Ramsgate, Guernsey v Faversham, Hastings v Cray Valley, Haywards Heath v East Grinstead, Herne Bay v Whyteleafe, Hythe v Burgess Hill, Sevenoaks v Three Bridges, Sittingbourne v Whitstable, VCD v Whitehawk.
