Kent Police investigating second car ramming incident on Imperial Business Estate, West Mill, Gravesend

A intruder alarm was activated after a commercial premises was "rammed" - the second incident of its kind in days.

The vehicle is reported to have rammed a building in Gravesend.

Officers were called at 12.57am on Tuesday after an intruder alarm was activated at a commercial premises on the Imperial Business Estate in West Mill.

The security shutter had been severely damaged by a car that had been left at the scene.

Nothing has been reported stolen but the till, which was empty, had been opened.

Witnesses or anyone with further information are urged to call the appeal line on 01474 366149 quoting reference XY/25844/16.

Officers are not ruling out the possibility that the incident may be linked to a similar report of a car ramming the Spar Shop on Rochester Road, in Gravesend, on the evening of Sunday, July 3.
