Air ambulance lands on A2 following crash near Bean Interchange

An investigation has been taking place on the A2 overnight following a serious crash.

The air ambulance was called to the London-bound carriageway near the Bean interchange for Bluewater after it happened at about 9pm.

Police, paramedics and Highways England traffic officers were also at the scene.

A diversion was set up to try and reduce delays for other drivers.

The road was closed for about 6 hours.
