Air ambulance lands in Northfleet following incident

Emergency services including an air ambulance have been dispatched near a railway station.

The ambulance and fire service were spotted in the area near Northfleet railway station and The Rose Pub, in Rose Street, at around 2.30pm.

A spokesman for the air ambulance confirmed they were dispatched a few minutes later, but wouldn't reveal why they were called out.

One resident opposite the station said he could hear the helicopter circling above his property.

Police have been contacted for comment.
