Gillingham man arrested after three-vehicle crash in London Road, Northfleet

A man has been arrested after a three-vehicle crash in Northfleet, which left one victim in hospital with serious injuries.

The collision happened in London Road at about 10.10pm on Friday.

A silver Peugeot, a black Toyota Avensis and a red Mazda 3 collided and a man in his 40s was cut free from the wreckage of the Peugeot and taken to a London hospital in a serious condition.

Today police confirmed the man is still in hospital and said a 30-year-old man from Gillingham was arrested and released pending further inquiries.
